Hailin Fu Style
On The World Art Stage, We Are More Focused On International Styles.

The Source Of Inspiration For My Tattoos Comes From The Deconstruction Of Chinese Traditional Painting And The Restructuring Of Western Realism.

I Tend To Portray Eastern Culture And Images. More Specifically, I Am Trying To Build A Wide Repertoire Of Chinese Art Characteristics That Look Visually Relatable To Everyone. I Believe Traditional Chinese Art Needs To Bring In New Elements In Order To Stay Relevant. My Artwork May Tend More Towards The National Chinese Style, But My Teacher Used To Tell Me,¡±a Drawing Without Creativity Does Not Have Value.¡± I Have Found Ways To Express Chinese Traditional Art And Literature With A Modern Sensibility. If Tattooing Is To Be Regarded As An Art Form, Then An Artist¡¯s Creative Attitude Must Be Brought Into The Process Of Making Tattoos.

I Learned About Western Drawing And How Tight And Structured It Is. But With Chinese Drawings, It Is More About The Spirit Behind The Artwork. Chinese Drawings And Paintings Are Not Too Tight Or Too Serious, Chasing A Picture Without Any Darkness, Like Pursuing A Bright Future. I Combine Eastern And Western Together In My Tattoos, Which Brings Me Happiness. My Other Artwork Outside Of Tattooing Is Also Based On This Creative Impulse.

In My Artwork, I Often Use Chinese Traditional Symbols Or Other Meaningful Elements From The Past. The Imagery In These Tattoos Could Help Signify Which Nation Or Cultural Identity You Belong To.

Product Description

GrandWay HK 980 model is a fixed blade karambit knife of typical claw shape with a sharpening on the inner side of the blade. From the back side there is a strap cutter capable of quick and efficient cutting the thin rope, paracord, cords, etc.

The blade is made of 440C stainless steel with a rather good resistance to corrosion and ability of retaining the sharpness of the cutting edge for a long time. And this model has a gray anti-glare coating such as Ti-Ni (Titanium Nitride) which gives additional anti-corrosion protection.

The construction of the knife is full tang, that is, a single strip of metal.

The handle is formed by two cover plates made of micarta. Micarta is modern and durable material. Thanks to its structure, the knife handle is very warm and does not chill in the winter.

Traditionally, this is a kind of tactical combat knives used in martial arts, self-defense, and as part of armed forces equipment.

Karambit knives (also known as kerambit, carambit or cerambit) are also applicable for civilian purposes and will perfectly cope with the cutting of cardboard, rope, tape, scotch and so on.

The knife has both direct and reverse grips. Technique of using such kind of knife is designed primarily for intersecting strokes.

The knife comes with a sheath made of nylon fiber.

Magnificent appearance combined with compactness makes of this knife a perfect gift.

Akshay Kumar: If a guy touches you, don't panic. Hit him back and run - Hindustan Times

Actor Akshay Kumar, who is trained in martial arts, says girls should not panic if touched inappropriately. Akshay, along with the team of his forthcoming film Naam Shabana -- co-actors Manoj Bajpayee and Taapsee Pannu and producer Neeraj Pandey -- visited the Gargi College for women in Delhi on Monday. Akshay spoke extensively on the importance of women knowing self-defence techniques. “In our country, I believe, girls should not learn martial arts or self-defence because I feel they should be free to walk anywhere, anytime, anyplace. But unfortunately, because of some dirty people they have to learn self-defence,” Akshay said. “I am running a school in Mumbai and I want to open one school here (in Delhi) but I don’t know when it will happen. I just want to tell you one thing -- if a guy touches you, then don’t panic, in fact, hit him back and run,” he added. The 49-year-old actor says that a man is successful in harassing a girl when she “freezes” and doesn’t react. She doesn’t know when a man touches her, she doesn’t know what to do. So don’t ever freeze, just shout. That is the biggest thing, just shout loudly and run, but don’t freeze,” Akshay said. Akshay is known for his work in action-packed films like the Khiladi series as well as other action films such as Mohra, Rowdy Rathore and Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty. As a promotional step for Naam Shabana, Akshay and Taapsee had also posted on social media a video teaching self-defence techniques to girls. Naam Shabana is an action spy-thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks banner. A spin-off of the 2015 film Baby, with Taapsee reprising her role as Shabana, the film is releasing on Friday. Source: www.hindustantimes.com

That Was the Year That Was - 1968
The world would never be the same again It was a year of seismic social and political change across the globe. From the burgeoning anti-Vietnam war and civil rights movements in the United States, protests and revolutions in Europe and the first comprehensive coverage of war and resultant famine in Africa. To some, 1968 was the year of sex, drugs, and rock and roll. Yet it was also the year of the Martin Luther King, Jr., and Bobby Kennedy assassinations; the riots at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago; Prague Spring; the antiwar movement and the Tet Offensive; Black Power; the generation gap; avant-garde theater; the upsurge of the women’s movement; and the beginning of the end for the Soviet Union. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ehCU3oUtVY 1968 In both Europe and America Japanese imported cars and other goods were continuing to rise and trouble the governments of UK and USA as they worried about industries in their own countries being effected and jobs lost. In the...
